Pledge Master

Bulk operations

Close or pay many pledges at once with Bulk Pay and Close — explained for counter and supervisor staff.

What is this page?

Bulk operations help when many customers pay and close loans on the same day — for example after an auction list or a camp day.

The main feature in the app is Bulk Pay and Close on the customer cart flow (multiple pledges selected for one customer).

Why you use this

  • Save time when one customer closes several pledges together.
  • Reduce mistakes vs closing pledges one by one without checking totals.

Before you start

  • Customer is correct (mobile verified).
  • Each pledge is current and eligible for pay and close.
  • Cash/UPI/bank totals prepared.
  • Supervisor approval if your shop requires it for large amounts.

What you see

What you will see on the screen

  • Customer cart / bulk section — lists pledges added for bulk pay and close.
  • Bulk Pay and Close — button to start combined settlement.
  • Summary totals — combined principal, interest, and charges before you confirm.

Step-by-step: Bulk Pay and Close

  1. Open the customer

Parties → Customers → find customer → eye icon.

  2. Add pledges to bulk flow

From customer pledge list, add the pledges you want to settle (per your screen’s add-to-cart or bulk selection).

  3. Review each pledge

Check pledge numbers and amounts in the bulk list. Remove wrong rows.

  4. Click Bulk Pay and Close

Start the bulk wizard. Wait — do not double-click.

  5. Enter payment modes

Split cash/UPI/bank like a single Pay and Close. Use denomination if shown.

  6. Confirm

Wait for success summary. Note any failed rows for retry.

Step-by-step: using Pledge Master filters before bulk day

  1. Filter in Pledge Master

Pledge MasterFilters → status, date, area as needed.

  2. Export snapshot (optional)

Export Excel/PDF for audit before mass processing.

  3. Process per customer

Bulk close is usually per customer — repeat for each person on your list.

What happens after save?

  • Each successful pledge moves to closed (when fully paid).
  • Registers and Daily Register get entries for the payments.
  • Failed pledges stay current — fix balance or blocking RP status and retry.
