Area Master
Add customer areas for addresses and filters — Settings → Master → Area Master.
What is this page?
Area Master is the list of local areas (neighbourhoods) you attach to customer addresses and sometimes use in filters.
Settings → Master → Area Master (/settings/masters/area-master).
Why you use this page
- Standardize area names (no “MG Rd” vs “Mahatma Gandhi Road” duplicates).
- Filter customers or pledges by area in reports.

- Area list — table of area names.
- Add — new area button/modal.
- Edit / delete — row actions when allowed.
Step-by-step: add an area
Open Area Master
Settings → Master → Area Master.
Click Add
Open add modal (e.g. area name field).
Enter area name
Use names customers recognize — spell consistently.
Save
Area appears in New Customer dropdown immediately.
What happens after save?
- Staff pick area when adding Customers.
- Old customers keep old area until edited.
Tips
