Read and export the Horizontal Balance Sheet — assets, liabilities, and equity explained simply.

What is this page?

The Balance Sheet shows what the business owns (assets) and what it owes (liabilities) at a point in time, plus owner’s equity.

Page title: Horizontal Balance Sheet (/reports/balance-sheet).

Why you use this page

  • Month-end or year-end snapshot for owner/CA.
  • Check cash, bank, loan outstanding, capital in one view.
  • Export PDF for filing or meetings.

What you see on the screen

What you will see on the screen

  • Horizontal Balance Sheet — report title.
  • Date / financial year — period selector (as on your screen).
  • Assets side — cash, bank, pledges/receivables groups, etc.
  • Liabilities & equity — loans, payables, capital, Current Year Profit / Loss.
  • Export — PDF export button when available.

Step-by-step: run the report

  1. Open Reports

    Sidebar → ReportsBalance Sheet (or direct menu item).

  2. Select date

    Pick as-on date or financial year per control on page.

  3. Wait for load

    Large branches may take a few seconds.

  4. Review totals

    Assets total should equal liabilities + equity (system calculates).

  5. Expand groups

    Click groups to see individual ledgers from Chart of Accounts.

  6. Export PDF (optional)

    Click Export → save PDF for CA.

What happens after you view?

  • View only — no data change.
  • Current Year Profit / Loss line links P&L result into equity section.
